The Washington Humane Society seeks an animal welfare leader to coordinate the adoptions program at our high-volume animal control shelter. Oversees the processing of adoption applications; works with volunteers, foster homes, and rescue groups; confers with management as to the adoptability of animals and euthanasia decisions; promotes adoptions; and handles adoptions webpage. Must possess minimum one year of experience working in the animal welfare field. Excellent verbal and written communications skills, organizational skills, and the ability to address conflict tactfully are required.
