Responsible for the overall medical care of the animals, and in the absence of the Director of Operations is responsible for the supervision of the Animal Care Technicians. The Animal Care Coordinator will: evaluate and observe all incoming animals on a daily basis for general health conditions and decide where to place the animals; administer and oversee medical treatment to animals sheltered at KVHS; conduct routine health checks and monitor progress of sick animals; prepare lists for the staff veterinarian with animals health concerns that need to be seen. Prior experience working with animals in medical setting is a plus.
