Medical Director

Progressive open admission agency seeks Medical Director to oversee care of 12,000 animals sheltered/year and 8,000 animals/year sterilized at Regional clinic. You will ensure best practice medical care, conduct exams; will perform Spay/Neuter surgery once a week (minimum 30/day) in high volume clinic overlooking the Capitol. Responsible for development, oversight of all medical protocols. Qualifications/Skills: DVM from accredited veterinary school; previous shelter medicine experience; natural leader with high standards, ability to train, motivate staff. Make a huge impact on the lives of tens of thousands of animals and help plan the new Animal Care Center for the nation’s capitol.
