Medical Program Coordinator
Friends of the County Animal Shelters (FOCAS)
Work with vet clinics throughout San Diego to coordinate medical care for dogs and cats within the FOCAS adoption program. Provide some direct pet patient care, eg. give meds, hold vaccination clinics. Maintain computerized medical records; Assist Cat Program Manager with processes and paperwork of cat adoptions; Update FOCAS Director of Animal Care daily about program activities/issues; Transport cats & dogs to various locations and appointments as needed. Requires RVT or Veterinary Assistant experience; significant experience with dogs/cats/puppies/kittens; professional experience working with public; professional experience coordinating/training volunteers preferred. Must have strong organizational and people skills, personal transportation required. http://www.focas-sandiego.org.
