The KC Pet Project, a nonprofit organization, is currently seeking an Executive Director to manage the Kansas City Missouri Animal Shelter, an open-admission, municipal shelter. KC Pet Project seeks to provide a modern, unique, and innovative sheltering environment committed to optimizing lifesaving and creating a No Kill community. KCPP is focused on promoting the health and welfare of pets in our care, the prevention of unplanned litters, pet retention, reunification of lost pets and owners, and promoting responsible pet ownership. The Executive Director will be responsible for the operation of the shelter and the management of all its employees.
