Part-time (possible full-time) experienced Surgical Veterinary Technicians needed for spay/neuter program at Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter. Duties include surgical preparation, induction, anesthesia, and recovery; drug calculations; vaccinations; data entry; maintaining surgical inventory and cleanliness; recruiting spay/neuter veterinarians and volunteers; and humane euthanasia. At least 1 year surgical experience required. Candidate must be an independent, multi-tasker with excellent communication skills and attention to detail who loves making a difference in animals’ and peoples’ lives within a fun, team environment.
