This position works closely and has strong ongoing communication with Animal Care Coordinator, Volunteer and Adoption Coordinators, Vet Staff and Director of Sanctuary Operations. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Caring for all facets of farm and farm animal care at Pasado’s Safe Haven (PSH), including working with volunteers to ensure protocols are followed, maintenance of farm animals and their facilities, and working closely with the Animal Care Coordinator and veterinary staff to ensure the physical and emotional well-being of the farm animals. This Lead position is specifically responsible for the care and well-being of our ruminant population, as well as our llamas and alpacas who live at the Sanctuary.
