Certified Veterinary Technician

Humane Society of Southern Arizona

Responsible for all aspects of surgical prep, venipuncture, administering vaccinations, testing for infectious disease, laboratory work and treatments of animals as indicated by the veterinarian for HSSA’s Spay/Neuter Clinic. Qualifications/Educational Background: • High School graduate with experience handling companion animals. • AZ CVT license in good standing. • Coursework and/or experience in companion animal surgery, preferably spaying and neutering. • Possession of a valid Arizona driver’s license and driving record acceptable to HSSA insurance carrier. Pay range:$13-$17/hr.
