Executive Director

Central Missouri Humane Society

CMHS is seeking an executive director who will have primary leadership responsibility, focus on stable budget management, fundraising and public advocacy and compassionate commitment to find permanent homes and rescues for all adoptable animals. Proven leadership experience preferably in non-profit setting; knowledge of and commitment to accepted shelter animal care standards; fundraising experience; skills to work with the board to plan and implement capital campaign; ability to prepare and deliver public presentations; ability to communicate effectively with a variety of audiences and stakeholders; and bachelor’s degree and/or relevant experience.
