Field Worker

PETA

PETA seeks a field worker to respond to calls from Virginia and North Carolina residents seeking assistance with various animal issues. Field workers are responsible for providing assistance with companion animal care, picking up injured or unwanted animals (including wildlife), trapping feral animals, providing owner-requested euthanasia, and conducting investigations involving neglected or abused animals. The ideal candidate will have basic animal-handling skills and euthanasia certification (on-the-job training will be provided). The successful candidate will also have good problem-solving and crisis-management skills and the ability to work efficiently with limited supervision.
