PVC Veterinarian (Part-Time)

We're currently seeking a qualified Vet to perform Preventative Veterinary Care for dogs & cats within PAWS Community Clinic & Outreach Center and/or Mobile Clinics. The PVC Veterinarian) is the leader of the preventive services unit for the day. The PVC DVM is responsible for establishing a Veterinarian-Client-Patient Relationship by means of examining a pet & in turn communicating to client recommendations for appropriate vaccinations & preventive health care for their pet. PAWS’s DVMs are also required to communicate with owners of unaltered animals on the health & social benefits of s/n through a non-judgmental & respectful approach. It is also PVC Vet’s role to ensure medical records are completed accurately, in addition to being responsible for communicating directly with the owner regarding any possible conditions, which may need follow-up from a full-service vet. A strong work ethic & commitment to our mission, as well as a fit within our culture, is required.
