San Diego Humane Society

The San Diego Humane Society and SPCA is seeking a skilled, energetic, self-motivated, full time high volume Spay/Neuter Veterinarian. We employ great support staff and follow quality medical protocols. The primary responsibilities include performing 35 -40 HQHV spay/neuter surgeries/day for shelter, public animals, community cats. Will perform additional surgeries as needed on shelter animals. At least 3 years of licensed experience , including at least two years with HQHV spay/neuter and pediatric surgeries. Must be able to evaluate health status in an objective manner & determine most appropriate treatment for an animal. Candidates must hold or obtain a DVM license in the state of California, hold or be eligible to hold DEA license, and possess /procure a valid CA driver’s license.
