Animal Care & Control of NYC
Collaborate with Volunteer Manager for support in the organization of the Volunteer Program located in the Manhattan Care Center. Oversee the scheduling, training, placement, recognition and administration of the volunteer members. Monitor safety issues among volunteers, including proper training in humane animal handling techniques. Generate monthly program activity reports. Develop positive working relations between volunteers and AC&C staff to ensure an optimally healthy and safe work environment. Bachelor’s degree preferred and two years of supervisory level in an active volunteer program, or related experience. Knowledge of Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook.
