  • Community Cares Coordinator

    The San Francisco SPCA imagines a community where every animal receives the medical care needed to be healthy. To work toward this vision, our Community Cares Coordinator interacts with communities most in need of our services and works to reduce shelter intake from targeted neighborhoods. We operate mobile vaccine clinics in underserved areas and a Community Cats Program focused on feral and free-roaming cats in San Francisco. The Community Cares Coordinator has the opportunity to make impactful and lasting change in the lives, welfare, and well-being of thousands of animals each year. We are looking for someone who is highly organized to coordinate the seamless operations of our community engagement programs. This individual will develop key relationships in targeted communities and work closely with the Community Cares Program Manager in supporting all aspects of our community outreach programs including mobile vaccine clinics, dog training and community cats services. Our ideal candidate will be bilingual and have experience working within diverse urban communities and animal welfare.
