    The Dutchess County SPCA is currently seeking a full-time Intake and Medical Services Manager. This position is responsible for managing the medical care for shelter animals, clinic services provided to the public, and our foster care program. This position includes administrative functions including reports and record keeping, supply and inventory management, supervision of staff, and overall operations of this unit. Qualified candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in social services or related field; three (3) years of experience in a shelter environment and two (2) years of veterinary management experience OR a High School Diploma or GED and five (5) years of experience in a shelter environment and two (2) years of veterinary management experience.     A non-profit, no kill, Dog Rescue located in Berkeley Heights, New Jersey with facilities in Aiken, South Carolina is seeking a Kennel Caretaker with Veterinary Technician experience. Applicant must be proficient in the following areas: Must have at least 2 years of veterinary experience, able to draw blood and place an IV catheter, know how to read fecal floats, able to identify and treat common animal shelter diseases, able to work in a fast paced environment, be a self-starter, must able to multitask, self-sufficient and be able to lift up to 60 lbs. Must have drivers license. Must be flexible and be adaptable to the fast paced, ever changing rescue environment. Duties include but are not limited to: feeding, cleaning, socializing dogs, medical intake and upkeep. Salary commensurate with experience. There is an option to live on the property of the kennel.
