    Ruff Start Rescue

    As Intake Manager, you will be responsible to oversee a group of intake coordinators/ perform the same duties as an intake coordinator as well as more. The intake manager will ensure that we are taking in the right amount of animals into the rescue on a monthly basis in comparison with previous months/years and also monitor the reports of outgoing numbers. You will be responsible to make sure the intake department runs smoothly and that RSR is represented as a professional organization to our fosters, sending shelters, owner surrenders, and internal volunteers. You are a leader and will need to set a good example. You will train intake coordinators and ensure they are doing their job accurately. You will be in contact with owners and shelters who inquire on surrendering an animal to us. You will coordinate with foster homes and placement coordinators to place the animals.     Feral Cat Spay/Neuter Clinic, founded in 1997 and one of the leading feline spay/neuter clinics in WA, is seeking a part time Lead Veterinarian for out clinic, with annual volume of approximately 6,000 surgeries of free roaming and owned cats. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: delivery of veterinary care of the highest quality, developing and implementing medical protocols, auditing of medical records to ensure accuracy and compliance, providing coaching and feedback to clinic staff with Medical Director, consulting with the Medical Director on organizational needs. Required knowledge and abilities: ability to perform high volume spay/neuter (50 per day with 25 of them being spays), ability to anticipate and identify problems and needs to solve them and/or communicate them appropriately, establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships.
