    The Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter (BARCS) is seeking two full-time experienced veterinary technicians. Two years previous vet tech experience is preferred. Duties include vaccinating animals during intake and adoption, venipuncture, medications, surgical assistance, customer service and education, humane euthanasia, shelter sanitation, and data entry. You must be an independent multi-tasker who moves quickly and efficiently to complete tasks. BARCS is the only open admission shelter in Baltimore city and handles the largest volume of dogs and cats in the state of Maryland. We receive almost 12,000 dogs and cats each year and care for 250-300 dogs and cats daily.
