  • Canine Supervisor

    We’re looking for a new “pack” leader! Our new Canine Supervisor will conduct canine intakes, temperament evaluations, oversee medical care, and adoptions. They will counsel community members surrendering their dogs and offer post-adoption guidance. They will help create and implement behavior modification plans and socialization programs for in-house dogs. Some hours will be spent on routine tasks such as kennel cleaning and feeding. The successful candidate will have knowledge and experience in canine health, behavior and care. Two years of experience in a shelter, kennel, boarding, or training setting is greatly preferred, as is a commitment to positive reinforcement training. The physical ability to handle and restrain large dogs, lift up to 50 pounds, and bend or kneel for periods of time is required. Must also be computer savvy.
