  • Lead Shelter Veterinarian

    No Kill Las Vegas is seeking applicants for a Lead Shelter Veterinarian, responsible for performing spay/neuter surgeries and daily shelter medicine duties, including treating animals in foster care, for a high-volume, open-admission, No Kill animal shelter. NKLV’s Lead Shelter Vet would be responsible for planning and implementing a comprehensive health care program for both shelter animals and those in foster homes. Job duties and responsibilities include preparing drugs for surgical patients, assisting with spay/neuter surgeries and dental procedures, maintaining an accurate drug log, documenting information on medical records, assisting with animal intake, health examinations and rechecks, daily animal care and observations, and administration of vaccinations and medications. Previous experience with high volume surgery preferred.
