    The Jacksonville Humane Society (JHS) seeks a relief veterinarian to serve our shelter animals from approximately mid-April through mid-August 2015. JHS intakes 6,500 animals yearly and works closely with partnering agencies to maintain the No-Kill status for the City of Jacksonville established in 2013. In addition to performing high volume spay and neuter surgeries (20-30/day) the ideal candidate will be responsible for the day to day evaluation, treatment and rehabilitation of shelter animals.
