    Help schedule, prepare for and organize monthly volunteer orientations. Increase targeted recruitment efforts for our Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Staten Island Animal Care Centers. Post and distribute flyers to outside vendors, recreation centers, community centers, schools, etc. Assist with volunteer database management. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for volunteers. On-boarding of and provide support for new volunteers and applicants. Process volunteer training and communicate progress to new and existing volunteers. Communicate with inactive volunteers and routinely clean up our volunteer database.     We are seeking a candidate with experience in volunteer and/or program management to coordinate our Feline Fix program. Feline Fix is a trap-neuter-return (TNR) program for free roaming cats. The goals of this program are to: curb overpopulation through spay/neuter, educate the community about the benefits of TNR, and prevent cats from being relinquished to shelters. The ideal candidate will have experience recruiting, training, engaging and retaining volunteers. This role requires nights and weekends and will require a high level of client interaction.
