    The Des Moines County Humane Society is seeking a full-time Shelter Manager. The position is a full-time supervisory and administrative position. This person is responsible for day-to-day shelter operations. They will provide health care and husbandry of shelter animals, leadership, training and supervision. They must possess excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and problem-solving skills. It is a highly-visible position involving a high level of positive and effective interaction with members, employees, visitors, volunteers and animals.
