  • Volunteer Veterinary Technicians Needed in Phuket, Thailand

    Soi Dog Foundation

Soi Dog Foundation in Phuket, Thailand currently welcomes volunteer veterinary technicians to help treat over 400 dogs and cats currently at our shelter. Our organization operates a very fast-paced and challenging veterinary clinic which sees emergencies daily as well as a busy mobile sterilization program. The shelter currently employs 4-5 full-time Thai and Western veterinarians and has in-house bloodwork and isolation facilities. To date, Soi Dog Foundation has sterilized over 70,000 dogs and cats in Thailand. Based out of Phuket, our shelter is located on a beautiful island with world-class beaches for volunteers to enjoy. Applicants should be self-guided and have the ability to multi-task as well as communicate in a professional manner with members of the community and shelter staff members. It is our hope that volunteers experience hands-on interaction with patients, learn technical skills in a limited-resource environment, and participate in diagnostic and treatment decisions.
