    We are looking for someone part time to fill our adoption counselor position. The hours are Thursday -- Sunday, 1-6pm. This position would be responsible for greeting customers, answering questions, answering phones/returning voice mails, handling adoption paperwork. Good customer service skills, attention to detail, the ability to multitask and computer skills are required. This is a fast paced environment and you need to be able to handle multiple tasks at once but still stay professional. We are looking for someone reliable with their own transportation.     PAWS is hiring a veterinarian for our low cost high volume spay/neuter and wellness clinic. The tentative schedule is Sundays through Thursdays from 9-5 with one 11-7 day. This is somewhat flexible but Saturday or Sunday is required. PAWS Wellness Clinic provides a means for low income families and animal rescue organizations in Philadelphia to access basic veterinary services for their dogs and cats. The clinic is equipped with the medications and resources to handle routine outpatient cases including wellness exams, skin conditions, upper respiratory infections, gastrointestinal disease, non-emergent urinary tract conditions, minor soft-tissue injuries, and other preventative care. The clinic veterinarian is responsible for examining in-house shelter animals that require medical attention as well as seeing approximately 15-20 appointments through the outpatient clinic. High volume, high quality spay/neuter skills are a plus. Surgery days are a mix of 14 dogs and 14 cats.
