    Process all incoming animals following applicable procedures, policies and protocols. Provide high level of patient care and appropriate follow-up in conjunction with the veterinarians' direction for animals in the shelter requiring medical treatment. Patient care may also include blood draws, IV catheter placement, nursing care, radiology, laboratory procedures, anesthesia and organization and execution of surgery schedule including up to 30 animals a day. Provide assistance with surgical procedures, surgical preparation. Work cohesively with co-workers, other departments and volunteers. Assist the public in a professional manner.
