    Great Plains SPCA is seeking an energetic and compassionate Veterinarian with experience in high volume, high quality spay/neuter surgery to join our eight-doctor-team at our Merriam, KS campus. We are looking for someone that can perform 25-30 surgeries per day with the drive to perform up to 40 a day within 6 months. Successful candidates are comfortable saying “yes” to our animals in need and figuring out how to make “yes” happen. The schedule is 4 – 10 hour days during the week working along-side an experienced, dedicated surgery team who thrive in the fast paced environment.     Great Plains SPCA is seeking an energetic, compassionate, and innovative Wellness Veterinarian to join our eight doctor practice at our Merriam, KS campus. Nearly 22,000 pets were served at our public, affordable Veterinary Care Center in 2014 and demand for services continues to grow. Responsibilities will include: providing high quality diagnostics and care to public wellness patients, determining the best treatment options for clients with a limited ability to pay for services, dentistry, spay/neuter and other surgeries, and assistance with shelter medicine.
