  • Canine Care Coodinator

    Lafayette Animal Aid

    This is a leadership position to directly oversee the needs of the dogs in our rescue while managing the canine care staff as well. The schedule for this position is 5 days a week, however, willingness to work extra days will be required as situations arise. This position is required to work a minimum of two Saturdays a month. The Canine Care Coordinator will ensure the implementation of exemplary standards in animal care, educate staff and the public on all aspects of dog care, and work to ensure safe and effective care environments for the various needs of animals at the shelter. This coordinator is responsible for arranging vet appointments, assisting in dog intros and training, ensuring that all dogs are kept up to date on vaccinations, and also working with the Executive Director and Medical Director for writing and implementing protocols.
