  • Spay/Neuter Veterinarian (Full or Part-Time, per diem)

    Merrimack River Feline Rescue Society

    The Merrimack River Feline Rescue Society is looking for passionate, skilled and people-friendly professionals to join the team that’s helped over 100,000 cats since our founding in 1992. The Catmobile Veterinarian will provide spay/neuter services to owned, shelter, and feral/stray cats on our mobile clinic, which travels in eastern Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire. Primary Responsibilities include performing spay/neuter surgery; performing intake exams & calculating anesthesia drug dosages; addressing client questions; overseeing controlled substances; supervising technician; other duties as assigned. Qualifications include: ability to obtain a MA veterinary license (ideally NH also); DEA license; valid driver’s license; proficiency in cat spay/neuter surgery; cat handling experience; ability to work in a fast-paced environment & in tight quarters; ability to stand for long periods of time; must be able to bend down and lift 40-65 lbs.
