The mission of Gifford Cat Shelter is to provide a safe haven for abandoned, stray, abused, neglected, unwanted and injured cats with the goal of re-homing and ending the needless killing of community and companion cats. Duties: Manages all aspects of cat health, including daily health assessments and provision of veterinary care. Provides daily cat care and supervises daily shelter cleaning. Reports to Shelter Director and works collaboratively with them in a variety of capacities. Develops infection control policies. Participates in fundraising events. Qualifications: 2+ years relevant experience in a shelter setting or as a veterinary technician. Knowledge/experience with a wide range of cat health issues.
