  • Behavior and Enrichment Supervisor

    The supervisor of behavior and enrichment (or whatever) is responsible for the behavioral health of the animals residing in the shelter. The supervisor will train and supervise members of the behavior team, as well as staff in other departments, in assessments and enrichment programs. The supervisor will also oversee training classes that are offered to the public and advise owners of adopted animals on how to address behavior problems. Additionally, the supervisor will participate in selecting the animals appropriate for intake into the shelter. This position reports to the director of shelter operations and surgery, and is expected to be a part of the shelter operational leadership. CPDT certification or CPDT eligibility required.
