  • Adoption Counselor/Front Desk (Part-Time)

    We are looking for someone part time to fill our adoption counselor position. The hours are Thursday -- Sunday, 1-6pm. This position would be responsible for greeting customers, answering questions, answering phones/returning voice mails, handling adoption paperwork. Good customer service skills, attention to detail, the ability to multitask and computer skills are required. This is a fast paced environment and you need to be able to handle multiple tasks at once but still stay professional. We are looking for someone reliable with their own transportation.   • Dog Caretaker

    We are looking to hire someone to fill one of our dog caregiver shifts. The current hours are Saturday and Sunday 6:00AM-12:30PM and Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 12:30PM-6:30PM, although some of the shifts can be switched around with other caregivers. During the morning shift, caregivers are responsible for cleaning all kennels, runs, and dog rooms, feeding,and providing enrichment and exercise. During the afternoon shift, caregivers are responsible for taking the dogs outside, feeding, providing enrichment and exercise, helping with adoptions, and helping to close the shelter at night. We are looking for someone conscientious and reliable with their own transportation. A working knowledge of animals is helpful, but not required.

Working under the direction of the manager, you will practice aspects of normal veterinary medicine with primary focus on spay and neuter surgeries, examinations, and shelter care.
