Angels is a great place to practice shelter medicine and work with animals that need your help. Angels for Animals is currently seeking full and part time dedicated and passionate Veterinarians to join our team! Angels for Animals is a low-cost, nonprofit spay and neuter clinic serving low income families, pounds, other rescues, and TNR organizations. We are looking for skilled Veterinarians who are able to perform 30-35 spays and neuters a days, who are comfortable with in heat spays, pregnant spays, large dog surgeries, and more. Veterinarians would also help maintain a shelter of 150-250 animals. Full time Veterinarians would be scheduled for 40 hours of work per week with occasional on-call weekends and some special events. Must hold current licensure in good standing in the state of Ohio.

    Ohio Alleycat Resource, a well-established cat-only animal welfare non-profit, is seeking a dynamic veterinarian who is committed to and passionate about animal rescue work. The Veterinary Medical Director would oversee the veterinary care of cats in all three of our programs (shelter; spay/neuter and wellness clinic; and community cats program), to include: Running a vaccine and wellness clinic (cats only) one day a week, including some scheduled surgical and dental procedures; overseeing the veterinary care of cats in our limited-admission shelter; overseeing the veterinary care of cats in our community cats program. The ideal candidate is passionate about animal welfare, non-profit work, and shelter medicine; - is well-versed in sanitation protocols to prevent disease spread; - enjoys both surgery and diagnostics; - is flexible and resourceful; and is registered to practice veterinary medicine in Ohio.
