    Animal Friends is seeking a knowledgeable and compassionate veterinarian who has a strong passion for animals in crisis, a dedication to reducing overpopulation through progressive spay and neuter, and a strong belief in the importance of community education. As a lead medical position, solid functional knowledge of internal medicine, critical care, and population diseases is paramount. Candidates must possess a strong technical background, efficient surgery skills, and a high level of professionalism to be considered. While Animal Friends follows a no-kill tradition, meaning that animals are not euthanized for cage space, the veterinarians are expected to support and perform appropriate euthanasia for defined medical and behavior reasons. Offer includes competitive salary including complete medical, dental & vision coverage, significant CE compensation, and vacation benefits. Weekend and “on call” availability is expected. Ability to acquire PA state & DEA licensures required.

We are looking for a talented, go getter to manage the care and movement of animals from intake to exit with an emphasis on increasing live exits.
