    The Humane Society of Chittenden County (HSCC) is seeking a highly-skilled, organized & dynamic individual to join the team and fill the role of Animal Care Supervisor. The ideal candidate will possess extensive professional, management-level experience in a shelter or animal rescue setting, be proficient in animal handling, behavior, training and husbandry, and have demonstrated leadership capabilities. The Animal Care Supervisor is responsible for managing the flow of animals- approximately 950 cats, dogs and small animals such as rabbits, ferrets and rodents each year- from intake to adoption, and for supervising and training animal care staff, interns and volunteers.     This full-time, exempt position is responsible for the annual fundraising program of the organization. It exists to develop and implement all components of the fundraising program and works closely with the Executive Director and Board of Directors to establish revenue streams for both operating needs and endowment growth. Responsibilities include: developing a relationship-based giving program; Coordinating Fundraising Committee; major gifts program; direct mail solicitations; fundraising events planning; planned giving program. Qualifications include Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience; years experience in development; Facility with Microsoft Office programs, donor management software and donor data analysis; working knowledge of social media tools and data analysis; ability to work both independently and in collaboration with supervisors, peers, and volunteers; and ability to work a flexible schedule as job demands; some weekends and evenings required
