    The Legacy Giving Officer plays a key role in the longevity of HSSV by securing revenue growth from individuals/community through Legacy Giving (aka Planned Giving) in the Bay Area and beyond that is required to realize our ambitious goals. Legacy Gifts are future gifts through our donors’ estates, such as bequests from a will/trust, or naming HSSV as a beneficiary of an IRA, life insurance policy, charitable remainder trust, charitable gift annuity, etc. This individual maintains a full portfolio of Legacy Giving donors and prospects and as a frontline fundraiser is responsible closing annual giving commitments and legacy gifts.
