The adopt. Program from Planet Dog

As the pet industry’s leader in innovation and philanthropy, Planet Dog is compelled to find deserving animals loving forever homes. Working with The HSUS as a Shelter Partners Associate, they’re leading a national public service campaign called rescue. raise. love. adopt.

Over 4 million dogs and cats are euthanized each year because too few people choose adoption. Planet Dog hopes to raise awareness of this unacceptable truth by providing HSUS Shelter Partners with free tools, incentives and rewards for all they do on behalf of homeless pets.

For the campaign, Planet Dog created the Kiss Me, I’m Adopted Kit as a reward for adopters and their new best buddy. Anyone who chooses to adopt a dog or cat from an HSUS Shelter Partner is eligible to receive this free kit after submitting a copy of their adoption certificate to Planet Dog for verification. HSUS Shelter Partners are eligible to receive promotional materials for use in their shelters.
