New resource provides citizens, the media, and law enforcement with the info they need

Online resources can help law enforcement, the media, and the public understand and address animal cruelty in their own communities. JENNIFER BROWN/NORTH JERSEY HERALD AND NEWS
Animal care and control agencies, humane societies, and other organizations working for the benefit of the creatures within our communities agree: Ending cruelty and organized blood sports such as dogfighting and cockfighting is a top priority.

While they may have other concerns on their plate, citizens, the media, and local law enforcement officials tend to agree as well. But often, members of the public who witness cruelty—the neglect of a starving dog, chained up without access to drinking water, or the deliberate abuse of a pet or a stray—don’t know what to do about it.
