Felipe Marquez has a bachelor´s degree in Communications with a specialty in Public Relations and Advertising. He is a key piece in working with authorities and NGO´s looking to create public policies on animal welfare. Felipe was an important piece in the transformation of the cruel festivity that took place for more than 150 years in Yucatan, the "Kots Kaal Pato", an event in which, in commemoration of Saint Bartolo, ducks were hung and their throats were slaughtered alive. Felipe actively participated in the meetings and lobbying with local authorities of Izamal and Citilcum to promote the transformation of the bloody festival by humanitarian acts that seek to exalt the true traditions of the region. He is responsible for the operation of the anti-cruelty platform that was launch in the State of Aguascalientes in 2015, coordinating with authorities to investigate animal cruelty cases, as well as training officers in the Country.
