Kim Soto is on a mission to help animal welfare professionals increase their capacity for life saving work through effective volunteer engagement. As Senior Director overseeing Volunteer Engagement at San Diego Humane Society, she is responsible for more than 5000 volunteers donating service valued at over $14 million dollars annually. In addition to her 12 years in an animal welfare leadership role, her background in human resources, education and a degree in Anthropology combine to make her fully qualified as a people expert. She is proud to use that expertise to assist staff and volunteers in forging impactful relationships that increase capacity and save lives.
