The staff of Animal Sheltering is grateful for you and your work

Thank you for all you do for animals in need

As Thanksgiving nears, we’d like to take a moment to express our gratitude to you, our readers and contributors in the animal sheltering and rescue fields. You continually inspire us with your ceaseless dedication to improving the lives of some of our society’s most vulnerable beings. Thank you for having the courage to critically examine long held policies, and for your willingness to overhaul those that no longer serve. This has led to some astonishing success!  Thank you for welcoming young people into your organization, stoking the embers of empathy and compassion and helping to create the next generation of humane workers. Thank you for your support of TNR, for your willingness to change your point of view to better benefit animals, and for reaching out to pets and people in underserved communities.

On behalf of all of us at Animal Sheltering, may you have a well-deserved and peaceful Thanksgiving holiday. (Special shout out to those of you who will be working through the holiday to care for animals. #hero)
