Large-scale animal seizures can be daunting for enforcement agencies and animal shelters alike. This course will help attendees prepare for a case from beginning to end, highlighting key ingredients for success. Specifically, we will briefly review how to build a case, plan ahead, execute a seizure, collect evidence, handle ongoing care and oversee case management. Discussing these critical components will help ensure the best possible outcome for the enforcement agency, rescue/shelter professionals and, most importantly, the animals.
