North Country Animal League seeks a veterinarian to join our staff who is eager to help homeless animals get a second chance at a forever home. The veterinarian of record will conduct high-quality medical care to shelter animals, including spay/neuter, and treatment plans for various medical conditions. As Vet of Record they will also be responsible for the overall health of all animals in our care and work closely with the Animal Health Manager to carry out medical care.

Required tasks include transporting, walking dogs, feeding, cleaning runs, administering medications, and grooming. Guide Dogs for the Blind has full-time opportunities for Canine Welfare Training staff to work in our kennels at our beautiful San Rafael campus! Come join our amazing team and provide care to Guide Dogs in training. CWTTs provide physical care as well as enrichment for dogs kenneled on our campus. CWTTs are responsible for feeding, bathing and medicating dogs; maintaining a clean kennel environment, walking and exercising dogs, as well as grooming. CWTT positions may also create a path for individuals interested in becoming an Apprentice and ultimately a Guide Dog Mobility Instructor.
