The Behavior Supervisor reports to the Chief Operations Officer and has primary responsibility for facilitating and overseeing a Behavior Program that meets all standards and guidelines set forth by AHS. Maintains the health and well-being of all sheltered animals and assists with shelter maintenance duties. This fill-in position covers vacation and other staffing needs, and works an average of 7-10 hours per week.

Assists shelter veterinarian in the Vet Clinic including medical treatments and exams, anesthesia monitoring, surgical preparation, and clinic cleaning and sanitizing. Also assist with vaccinations, deworming, medical and behavior evaluation of animals entering the shelter.
