Humane State trainings

The Humane State Program (HSP) provides support to the shelter and rescue community on multiple levels. HSP provides training on disaster readiness, compassion fatigue, investigations and many other topics relevant to shelter, rescue and law enforcement professionals. We work to facilitate coalition-building across each state to identify capital and training needs, increasing collaboration that builds in-state resilience and experience.

Free day-long training for all who work in the animal welfare field

Notice: The Humane Kansas Disaster Preparedness Trainings scheduled this week are canceled. Due to the devastating impact of Hurricane Michael in Florida, HSUS’s Disaster Response Team is urgently needed on the ground, and that means our speakers are being called into action and so unfortunately won’t be available this week. Our goal is to bring you top-quality trainings with the best, most experienced speakers, so we’ll be rescheduling the training with our Disaster Response speakers for spring 2019.
