Effective leadership is critical to the future of animal welfare. As our field evolves and a new generation of leaders emerges, organizations that provide training and support to upcoming leaders will have a significant edge in fulfilling their missions and building healthy organizational culture. This seminar is for the next generation of animal welfare leaders: staff or volunteer leaders who are new to a leadership role or are on a leadership track. This seminar will equip participants with a deeper understanding of their own leadership and communication style, and provide the opportunity to learn and practice new skills in conflict negotiation, servant leadership, and collaborative decision-making. The seminar is taught by Emancipet New School VP, Myles Chadwick. Next Generation Leadership is geared towards aspiring leaders on the management career track or new managers with less than 10 years in a leadership role. Registration is $500 per person which includes all materials, breakfast and lunch on both days. If you have questions, or would like registration information, email firstname.lastname@example.org today!
