Job Description

The Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) plays a critical role at Madison Cat Project (MCP). They are responsible for supporting the Medical staff and volunteers by providing excellent medical and surgical care for program cats and public patients, as well as assisting with the development and growth of our community wellness program. The position requires professional communication with other staff, volunteers, and members of the public.

Madison Cat Project provides high quality care to all types of cats, regardless of their temperament and attitude towards people. The CVT must be comfortable handling difficult cats to ensure complete care while ensuring safety for staff and volunteers. MCP believes that not all cats are suited to an indoor home and for some, an outdoor lifestyle is the most humane outcome.
