Humane Fort Wayne, a 501(c)3, is seeking a highly skilled and versatile DVM to join our team of mission-driven lifesavers as the Director of Veterinary Medicine. This new position will be best filled by a confident and affable leader with a history of managing his/her peers, as well as someone who is committed to shelter medicine and its many facets.

Humane Fort Wayne is an ever-growing, dynamic animal welfare organization consisting of: shelter programs; an affordable veterinary clinic offering both public wellness services and high volume spay/neuter; and pet retention programs for at-risk cats and dogs.

The Director of Veterinary Medicine will work in a brand new, state-of-the art facility and will serve alongside the executive leadership to shape future programs while, at the same time, ensuring that our veterinary staff’s professional needs are met.
