Summary: Lifesaving Outcomes Specialists play a key role in achieving Best Friends Animal Society's organizational no-kill mission and goals. Lifesaving Outcome Specialists act with urgency and efficiency to find adoption and transfer outcomes for animals in care at the Sanctuary. With lifesaving outcome success, Best Friends can continually save animals at risk of being killed in shelters in Utah, and across the country.
Location: Washington, District of Columbia
Participate in and perform routine behavior evaluations on potentially adoptable animals. Provide positive reinforcement training and enrichment activities for shelter animals.

Best Friends Animal Society is dedicated to ending the killing of dogs and cats in America’s shelters, and we’re looking for a passionate, committed Registered Veterinary Technician like you to join us.
Location: Delaplane, Virginia
Dog caregivers will work closely with the Operations Manager and fellow caregivers to oversee the health, physical and emotional well-being, and general care of the dogs. Evening, weekend, and some holiday availability is required. Specifically we need coverage for Friday evenings, Sunday and Monday mornings, and some Saturday events.
Background checks are required before starting work at TVR.
Pay will be hourly and depend upon experience.
