Key Responsibilities - As our Canine Behavior Coordinator, you'll play a crucial role in enriching the lives of shelter animals and supporting their journey to finding forever homes. Your responsibilities will include:
• Developing and implementing enrichment programs to enhance the well-being of dogs in our care.
• Conducting behavior assessments and providing training to staff and volunteers.
• Collaborating with other shelters and rescue organizations to support animal welfare initiatives.
• Offering pre-intake and post-adoption counseling to adopters working through behavioral issues.
• Ensuring the safety and well-being of both animals and humans through Fear Free techniques and safe handling practices.

Qualifications - We're looking for candidates who possess:
• A genuine passion for animal welfare and a commitment to our mission.
• Previous experience working with animals in a shelter environment.
• Knowledge of animal behavior modification techniques.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
